How should I transition plants to pon?

Hello everyone! 😁

Today, I just my very first pack of Lechuza pon. I did tons of research beforehand, and I think it will work out fine, but I still need some reassurance from more experienced folks, like yourselves.

I have a couple propogations (epipremnum, philodendron) in perlite and some alocasias in moss. All of these have tons of roots and thriving in a prop box with really high humidity. I started to slowly aclimate them to the rooms environment about two months ago and now they should be ready to be taken out of the box. And the next step I want to make, is to but them in pon.

Not too long ago I bought a couple of really tiny plants (alocasias, philodendron, anthurium), currently living in soil. I also want to transfer them to pon eventually, but for now I was thinking perlite first and into the prop box. After I see some progress and new roots, I would transfer them to pon as well.

Also, many people recommened cutting off soil roots? Is it really necessary? Or will they rot, and die, if I dont cut it? Cause if it can be avoided I really would like to.

So what do you guys think? Is this a great approach? How did you do it? What about the bigger plants? Im still afraid to transfer them from soil, so first I want to try with the smaller cheaper plants.

Thanks a lot for the answers, and for reading this!😁🌱💕
