Using NS commanders as referees for med school?

Hi! Im reapplying to local med schools and was wondering if picking a commander from NS would be a good choice for one of the 2 referees?

I was thinking between my CO/OC/PWO, and mainly considering between OC (has a good balance of authority + kinda familiar with who I am and what I did) and PWO (hes more familiar, but idk if the lower position affects anything? Also he's very chill and like casual with us and I wonder does that make it bad cuz to me I'm not super sure if he gives off the vibe of being good at filling in referee reports and stuff? (Also cuz like OCs would have more experience filling in formal forms/docs sorta things too so I dunno if that is something I should consider too?)

So anyway I'm pretty torn abt who to ask since and I was hoping someone with more experience with this would be able to help! TIA!
