Opinion on Shark Robot Vacuums?

From my understanding, Shark Vacuums in general have been pretty popular but their robot vacuum line has been hated for their unreliability.

I've had every Shark Self Empty Model (Shark IQ [around 2 years], Shark AI [1 year], and now the new Shark Matrix Plus [less than a month]) and I've had a pretty positive experience with them all so I find it a bit confusing?

For all of them I ran into issues the first few runs but after I tinkered with them (ex. Set up No Go Zones in areas the bot was getting stuck or moved cords out of the way) it seemed to work fine without me needing any intervention.

I live in a pretty big floor plan with an infant who leaves toys and objects all over the floor but it doesn't get stuck. (Although admittedly the Shark IQ did get stuck sometimes).

I know these are marketed toward pet owners and I don't have any pets other than birds so perhaps these machines aren't good for pet owners.

These machines have worked great for me but I personally would prefer a bag type robot vacuum (like any other one on the market) because of all the maintaince required. It gets very exhausting over time. All the vacuuming and Wiping of each part of the robot and dock and the washing of the felt filter every month. Only reason I've stuck with them is because of the major sales they have sometimes.

Anyways based on my experience I don't understand why people generally have such a negative Stigma towards Shark Robot Vacuums. I know everyone has different experiences so I'd be interested in hearing from others who have had Shark Robot Vacuums
