When did red hood become mainstream??

I’ve been a red hood fan for as long as I can remember, as soon as I watched the under the red hood animated film I took it upon myself to read all the comics pertaining to him and since then have been an avid reader. However now I’m noticing in the past few years he’s become more and more popular, whether it’s on TikTok or Instagram or whatever. Mostly people thirsting or getting his entire history wrong. Have I been living under a rock?
