Porsche drivers never wave back

I actually at a draft of this written, but then I decided not to post as it was pure conjecture... But then it's happened two more times since then. I'm convinced now... I wish the vibe was like the Jeep guys, or the miatas, or even the biker guys. They always wave to each other. Very conscious of others but in a good way :)

Porsche guys will never wave back! There's like no camaraderie, man... I have a red 911, you can't miss me. Sure, it's a 996, but dang dude the stereotypes about the Porsche drivers are like true or something LOL

There's bright around a 5% chance a driver of a Porsche 911 will wave back at you. Absolutely no waves from any of the SUVs and the Cayman and Boxster guys are a mixed bag. I have a 0% wave back rate from newer 911s. Just this morning I hopped on the highway and directly in front of a brand new 992 carrera. I pull up next to him and wave and Bros just dead straight with the view. I play around and try to accelerate a little bit, but no bite.

This story plays out every single time.

Exception is the older the 9/11, the more likely they are to actually be an enthusiast / someone who'd wave back! Of course, the 996 guys are the most playful and will wave back along with race you a little bit LOL

Just wondering if this is anyone else's experience as well. My sample size is very small as I only see a 911 roughly once a week but I wonder what you guys have thought. I've owned my car for about a year now so by that logic I have 52 examples :D
