I've been a loyal customer of this place for over 15 years. Today I've had the worse experience at this location trying to purchase alcohol. They started a new program that scans Id's to purchase items restricted to minors.I have no issue with that at all. However My state license expired this month and I don't plan to renew till later this month. Knowing this I had in person my federally issued military identification. The cashier was rude and dismissive unwilling to help me. I was irritated and annoyed but I never yelled , cursed or called her out of her name.( at one point i literally had told her to chill out and calm down in front of her 20 something year old manager) It ended up turning into an over 30 min ordeal. The 26 yr old ( i asked his age )security guard on duty pulled me aside and tried to explain to me how women are overly emotional and its just how it is. When I damn near have a son his age and have been married over 20 years that annoyed me even more and i told him dont degraded all women like that ands its not a male, female issue but an issue how one should conduct themselves with customers. Had i given even half that energy back i immediately would been branded the angry black guy and the aggressor.Eventually A phone call to corporate cleared me for purchase. What the hell is going on on at that store?
