Game keeps sending me back in time

Maybe I'm just dumb and haven't been saving right but I just recently got the game and I'm currently in the Jurrasos season and have been on the hunt for 2 specific dinosaurs. However, last night I was on day 16 when I saved the game and quit. When I logged back in this morning, it sent me back to day 3. This has happened 3 times now. Every time it does this, my progress around my farm gets reset. I had a T-Rex at one point and it completely took away the dinosaur and the pen I built for it!
