Right off the bat, the cheapest RX 9070 will cost $649.99, while the cheapest RX 9070 xt is or was listed at $749.99. Whether these are official prices, we have no way of conifrming. However, it is a fact that the XFX Swift series are epxted to be priced at AMD's MSRP.
This throws a wrench in the belief that AMD gpus will be "$50 less than Nvidia". If you consider the true price of the 5070 Ti is really $900USD and not $750, these prices aren't that bad. If AMD can keep these in stock, AMD turns into a much more attractive option. Speaking of, the 7900xtx at the current price, starts to look real good with the 9070 rumored pricing.
The 9070 at $500 would have been a banger. Missed opportunity by AMD.
