The reason why that final line in chapter 165 infuriates me.

"People aren't always fragile as they seem" is like completely smashing Aqua's entire character to smithereens.

So in the entire Manga, we have had Aqua constantly grappling with Ai's death. It is a trauma. It is a fragility.

Aqua died because of Ai's death. Yes, yes, he did it to "protect" Ruby but a part of it was revenge.

So Aqua was Fragile in a sense. And that isn't bad. He was traumatised. The circumstances around Ai's death were traumatising.

You can't get over it easily. Even Ruby. Part of why she's obsessed with being an Idol is Ai. Like a huge part.

And so, you are telling me, the fragility, the trauma, Aqua suffered through the entire series, Ruby will overcome in the next? In one chapter?

This is murder of both characterisations.
