Common Grackle Behavior

[[Its a BOAT TAILED GRACKLE not a common one, sorry!]] Can anyone help me identify why this grackle in my backyard is flying way too close for comfort? I walk down the same path to walk my dog and this grackle is constantly chirping and flying very close to my head. It even follows me down the path and sometimes back to my front door. I dont know where the nest is if its being territorial because I have tried to seek it out and nothing. What can I do about this?
