Aveda haircut

Hello!
I have been no poo at first and then low poo for almost a year. I'm really happy with my routine, it's fast, easy, and gives me great hair. I make my shampoo with shikakai, reetha and arappu powders.
I recently moved to NYC, and have to face the crazy hairdresser costs in the US. I found out that the Aveda institute in cheaper though.
I booked an appointment, and was wondering if anybody know if their products are safe to use, or if I just have to go there with my hair already washed.
