Is Boost Mobile a valid option for international travellers?
So far, my research has led to US Mobile (Verizon) and Tello (T-Mobile) for a good 10-15GB prepaid plan for 2 days in Seattle ($5 USD).
Then I looked at which MVNO could be a potential option for AT&T network to keep my options open. Boost Mobile seemed to have good deals. They have a promo, 10GB and unlimited talk/text for $5, or unlimited talk/text/data for $12.50.
Problem is, unlike US Mobile & Tello, Boost Mobile does not allow non-US billing addresses. I’m technically a Canadian-American dual citizen but have no US billing or delivery address. Also, their activation process seems to prefer physical SIMs and less towards eSIMs, which would be my preferred method of online activation before landing in the USA. I have a Canadian unlocked iPhone 14 Pro Max.
So, any anecdotes on the non-US billing address and eSIM online activation with Boost Mobile?
Currently leaning towards US Mobile due to prioritized 5G Warp data and the RootMetrics report declaring Verizon as best for Seattle.
