Larger fender flares?

Was wondering if anyone knew 1. which models had the larger plastic fender flares?
(as seen in this photo) 2. why they stopped making them? 3. if you can retro fit them onto a defender with out them? 4. if so, where can I purchase?

Strangely, my dealer had 2 cars on the lot with them and quickly steered me away from both of them saying they, "Weren't for sale" and "Wouldn't be for sale"
