Early 2000s emo band

This is driving me nuts because I know it’s going to be so damn obvious once someone names them but I can’t remember their name for the life of me.

It was an early 2000s emo band. Pretty big name at the time. They had one really popular album that every sad teenager listened to in 2000-2002ish when they got dumped. The entire album was in response to the lead singers girlfriend breaking up with him. I remember him being quoted as “the bitch broke up with me” when someone asked what inspired the album.

I want to say one of the lyrics to one of the popular songs was something like “I can’t live with you but how am I suppose to breathe with out you” or something.
