Crossplay (thoughts of a PC player)

Look, I know that there was a community post telling everyone to not talk about crossplay anymore, but I'm writing this to defend it. I'm a PC player and I know that many people are expecting hackers to dominate every match, but realistically speaking you won't encounter cheaters all that much. The last time that I encountered a hacker on my main account was maybe season 7 (650+ play hours btw). In general, you won't see cheaters at all once you reach pro rank ( in general, not a promise but I personally have never had a cheater in the lobby once I reached pro rank) at which point the hacker probably already got reported to death. Even on my alt accounts where I'm still amateur rank I haven't gotten any hackers this last season. For the most part hackers are INCREDIBLY RARE. Then again, it might vary depending on the server you are playing on. On the servers that I play on, hackers may just be incredibly rare by default. Especially since I sometimes see PC players in this subreddit complaining about seeing several hackers in a week.

Since the block list feature is being added it will be even easier to avoid hackers.

One valid argument about including PC is the aim, which I see as completely valid. Aiming with a mouse is leagues better than aiming with a controller, even with aim assist, so I don't really have anything to say there. But then again, I can't say that I'm not looking forward to crossplay. Especially since solo matches will now have actual people in them rather than have half of the lobby being bots (may vary from server to server) and also because it will be easier to find lobbies where everyone is in similar rank instead of having amateurs and experts in the same lobby.

That's kind of all I have to say. I get that even if hackers are rare, having them AT ALL is kind of a problem, but I still want all of you to be open to the idea of crossplay, especially since PC players need it the most.
