Minecraft bedrock addons saying update available but won’t update

I go to the addons and click update but nothing happens for any of them, any suggestions on how to fix this? One of my addons got a massive update and I want to use the new stuff. I could try deleting Minecraft and reinstalling but I’m worried I’ll lose my purchased content and worlds, I could delete the addons and reinstall but then I’m worried my world will be corrupt.
