Why does Universal Studios refuse to make Jurassic World movies as edgy, and scary as the original 3?
I’m a 90s baby, so I grew up with the first 3 JP movies and watched them religiously. I’m a huge fan of the franchise with the lore and everything and I know others know it well to. Since JW came out in 2015, The JW series has gotten so polished and clean cut compared to the first 3. The JP movies were way more violent, scary, and overall had an ancient jungle feel compared to the new movies. What makes me even more frustrated is the fact that the first 3 made way more money than the JW movies. Yes, Jurassic World made $1B but even that movie had some of that edge, and wonder the originals did, but not as much. So, What do you guys think is their reason? I refuse to believe they think they had to tone it down to make more money because the numbers from the originals say otherwise.
