What should happen to the Producer's Pick going forward, in your opinion?

A lot of people (myself included) are a little disappointed with how the Producer's Pick went this go around (you may be familiar with me from "Why Brad is the only logical Producer's Pick lol", so figures). I see a few people calling for it to be removed completely, what's your take?

Imo, I actually don't mind players repeatedly playing each other every year so long as they keep earning their spots (I would've been much more excited to see Amy in Masters if she actually beat Victoria head to head for the spot). I think that the JIT should be producing one qualifier though, or it should have two separate finals like others suggested (see Second Chance). I don't enjoy 1st and 2nd because it does feel underwhelming for finals to essentially decide who doesn't get to play in Masters, and who gets an extra 50k... Not exactly must watch TV imo!

I'd keep the Producer's Pick for an extra season personally, literally just to get Brad that overdue slot (so long as he hasn't retired, which should be his decision and his alone). I do think it's worth noting that I don't think a weak GOAT showing discredits him considering Amy had a very weak Masters and a bit of a slippery path to 2nd in JIT (she came extremely close to a semifinals exit and a winless finals). After that though? I would not mind never seeing it again, or just making it have a set-in-stone criteria that will not be deviated from going forward.

Also I do want to say, I think Amy 100% deserves this invite, but I think there are others (maybe even just one guy lol) who deserve it more, and would at least be more interesting than a 2/3 repeat. She's an outstanding player and I'm still looking forward to seeing her back in Masters.
