Oliver isn't like that because of his Viltrumite half, it's the trauma
I keep hearing people say that Oliver's morals are because of his Viltrumite half, but it's not, Oliver is a child that has been through extreme trauma and remembers it all.
First he lived through a massacre on his home planet, after which he was suddenly relocated to another planet with a brother he barely knew, his mother is now dead and as far as he know his dad may be too.
After that some guy comes out of nowhere invades his home and tortures his brother and adoptive mother, leaving her almost dead.
Is it weird that as a trauma response Oliver wants to outright eliminate anyone that could be a threat to him or his family? He could be 100% human and have the same mentality.
Oliver and Mark are not defined by their genes, they are their own person, and the same with Mark, is not that his human side won, it's not the dna, it's Debbie, it's the love and care she taught him that made this Mark the good one, I feel this is a very obvious message of the show?
