Anyone else feel Immortal is kind underwhelming for thousands years of experience?

And I don't mean his super powers.

He gives more vibes of bit-jaded 30 year old typical superhero?

Did this guy not lead armies? With losing people all the time? Should he not have some type of "for the greater good" mentality, since many died for cause that he must have believed in?

Should he not have some wisdom that helps him keep going? He was a leader in many different cultures/times, that should give him many perspectives on how to deal with losing people around, no?

Yet he can't cope with losing one clone girl? I know he lost his team but still he surely lost thousands by that point.

Maybe in comics they did it better but in the show they did not seem to even be that close.

He surely does not give off that... charisma... that would be associated with many of those historical/legendary figures that he was before.
