Can someone explain Umineko to me?

Usogui Was always considered on top not just in terms of scaling, but also just writing in general. It's considered a masterpiece of fiction. Reverend Insanity Then surpassed it, and seem to do it in both categories, with many people claiming that reading such a webinaroval makes everything else look like garbage.

But I don't even know what Umineko Really is. It seems to be the new one that's their passes them, but I've seen people claim that it surpasses them in writing too.

I believe it, but like is it actually true? When I Google it? I just seem to find some crappy video game, although maybe I'm just judging it by its cover
