Repaying loan through my account

Hi,

I've been asked to assist someone with repaying their loan. Not with my money but just to let them use my account. So I want to know if this is risky and may get me flagged by the IT department.

Full scenarios: The person asking to use my account wants to transfer about 3 lacs to my account and then wants me to send that to the loan provider. They want to see if that will reduce their principal amount. This is going to be one of the many upcoming transfers if this arrangement works.

Should I be worried about being bothered by the income tax department? Is there a better way of doing it?
