Are Online Degrees from Places Like University of London or IU Germany Worth It for an IT Career?
Hi everyone!
I’ve been looking into online programs lately, specifically the ones from University of London and IU (International University of Applied Sciences in Germany). I’m interested in getting a bachelor’s degree, ideally focused on machine learning or AI, but I’m trying to figure out if these online programs are actually worth it.
A few things I’m wondering:
- Will an online degree actually help me get job-ready? I want something practical that’ll prepare me for work right after graduating.
- Do employers care if a degree is online? Or is it all about the skills?
- Does an online degree mess with grad school chances? Like if I wanted to do a master’s later on in AI, would that be a problem?
Would love to hear from anyone who’s done an online degree in IT or something similar! Thanks a lot in advance.
