So, about Amphoreus lifespans...

After finishing the 3.0 story recently, there are many things I'm confused about, but let's start with the simplest one: what's up with Amphorean people's lifespans? I haven't seen any discussion about this yet, so I figured I might address it.

Now, disregarding any theories that Amphoreus is a simulation/stuck in a time loop/a memory preserved by the Remembrance, let's just assume it's a perfectly normal planet with nothing off about it for a second.

Initially, I was confused after the sequence where we search for the source of Nikador's madness, figure out that we landed sometime after the Chrysos War, and talk to Gnaeus who is surprised that the issue with Nikador has persisted "for thousands of years in the future". By talking to some NPCs, we find out that Mydei and his people left Castrum Kremnos shortly before the time period we found ourselves in. So Mydei is thousands of years old. Sure, I thought, he's literally immortal and unable to die.

But here comes the weirder part - there's a NPC in Okhema who states that he arrived to the Holy City alongside Mydei, which apparently happened thousands of years ago?

So, are the Amphoreans a long-life species like the Xianzhou people? Or does this just lend further credibility to the time loop theory? I'm massively confused.
