Bought a new home and clueless on this.

Only one of the coax port works to get the Internet working, the rest doesn't seems to work. I see a bunch of coaxial cable are not connected. Should I take off all the splitter and use the black amp box, I see that one has 1 in and 8 out.

Also, the amplifier at the bottom, one of the line is cut, what is the purpose of having a single coax in while the bottom one is cut?

Sorry, or is this something I should just ask the Xfinity tech to redo them all? I want to be able to either use Moca or move my Internet to upstair.
