Rant: Homer Pantry

Isn't the whole concept of the Homer Pantry a goddamned embarrassment? Like, the company cares enough about you to provide a food bank funded by...employees....

At the moment I write this, a single share of Home Depot stock is worth more than $405. Arthur Blank is worth NINE BILLION dollars. His partner, Bernie Marcus was worth ELEVEN BILLION dollars when he died. The CEO makes fifteen million dollars per year and owns 46 million worth of stock.

Were I on the board of this company, I would be ashamed that the company makes 4 BILLION dollars in profit, yet pays its 450,000 employees so poorly that they need food banks. It is criminal.
