Looking to Install UNC1A, opinions?

For those who have made the leap, do you regret it? Any missing functionality? I heard there are NFC issues--but I don't use the NFC feature anyway.

I'm more concerned with banking apps still being useable. I'm doing this because I want Android 14 and continued security updates. I also heard that the battery life improves with UNC1A. Can anyone with personal experience support or refute this?

I've never installed a ROM before--but I'm comfortable with tech and am detail-oriented/careful.

This phone is my daily driver and I just put in a new Samsung OEM battery in it. (It's holding up very nicely.) I just want to make this new battery last as long as possible. (Hopefully another 4 years at least.) Does anyone know of a how-to guide? I can flash the UNC1A ROM without rooting, correct?

Does the fact that it's the Verizon version of the phone make a difference?
