Looking for an apartment

Hey guys. I will be moving to Gainesville in late June since I will be starting work as a fellow physician at UF Shands. I'm looking for a good place to live, however am kind of finding it difficult since there are many options and have no idea which areas are safe and stuff. Also, I'm seeing that some apartments are offering discounts for UF employees, and I'm assuming since I will be working at Shands that this discount will apply to me.

I am trying to find a 2 bedroom apartment in a good area with decent amenities and at a good price. Any suggestions would be much obliged. Thanks
