Worried about gallery gaskets
Have a g37 2010 sedan, 103xxx miles. Im aware of the infamous gallery gasket issues with these motors. I recently installed a AEM oil pressure gauge and have been monitoring the pressures in accordance with the Infiniti specs (14 psi hot idle, 40 psi above 2k RPM). Car has done fine with the pressures but I’m still worried as I know it’s almost inevitable that the gasket will go on these motors. I was curious if I’d notice a drastic drop on the pressure if the gasket did decide to go out. Would this be the case?
