Selling Advanced Reader Copies

I searched the sub and found no posts about this so here goes. Does anyone on here have any experience selling ARCs (Advanced Reader Copies). Are they worth anything? Or would it be better to just donate them? I realize that it is based on the individual book, but just want to hear ya'll's thoughts.

Also realize they clearly say "NOT FOR RESALE". But so do those Sonic the Hedgehog SEGA Genesis games that I see for sale at every game store. Thoughts on legal issues also welcome.
