Is it too late ?

I am 29 no prior experiences , I currently just started community college. All As if I maintain my gpa I’m thinking of applying to Barauch University nyu to get my degree. I watch surveillance every morning I invest most of my money and I really want a job that aligns with my passion. I am planning to get my cfa level one once I’m done with my 2 years in cc . How important is it to go to to prestigious school like Barauch ? Do I even have a chance, I don’t want a lot just a job in finance field as an investment manager, idm a 60k job doing that either. What other steps should I take ?
