Which perfume opened your eyes and mind and love to a whole category of perfume you normally do not care for?

I have smelled way too many perfumes (I am kind of obsessed) and while I love so many perfumes on others, I rarely love one enough to want a full bottle (my wallet loves this hehe).

My two favorite perfumes are SDV Guerlain and Jovoy Fire at Will. I like warm, boozy vanillas and these are the only two I fell in love with and bought.

Then I smelled 21:50 reverie VB and discovered I love earthy tobacco perfumes too!

Have you had similar experiences? I am hoping to smell something that will make me fall in love with a new category.
