Series where the main character is not the chosen kne

I have read many fantasy books but one thing I don't like about a lot of them is that the mc is almost THE CHOSEN ONE, I want a series where that's not the case, just somone struggling though there world trying to find there place, also I love magic so the more focus on the magic system the better, and romance, not the cheesy or dirty kind, just natural feeling for another human. I know this is a lot of criteria but I'm severely lacking in good books to read
