How to detect seizures when living alone
I’m diagnosed with FND because they ruled out everything else (or that they think so) and they all know that I don’t really accept the diagnosis because my symptoms don’t really fit.
I have mainly extreme muscle weakness in legs, loss of sensations, spams, twitches, and severe nerve pain that can be relieved using pregabalin. My arms and hands are affected as well, and the pain is more localized than migrating, the symptoms are anatomically logical (quite similar to a T4 incomplete SCI).
Anyways I realized that I don’t have seizures at all, and I know that many FNDers don’t as well, but I’m starting to question whether I have missed something. I’m done questioning my diagnosis but I think it’s likely that I missed some symptoms that may validate that diagnosis, which I think could be silent seizures. The thing is that I live alone and I won’t know if I have black outs or start staring into the void. I have ADHD and I’m quite forgetful and disorganized naturally, so if a part of my memory is gone I won’t even know.
I can’t have a camera point at myself 24/7, but given the possibility of me missing my possible silent seizures, are there anything I could do to monitor my consciousness and better care for myself?
