A friendly reminder to replace your early N20 timing chain

Bought a 328i from 2013 with an N20. Wanted to replace the Timing Chain, but the Mechanic told me that if the timing chain would fail, I would get timing errors. I kept driving and got a Low Oil Pressure error on the Autobahn. This time I insisted on replacing it, and this was found in the oil pan. Luckily the bearings were not damaged. If I wouldn’t have pushed it to the max at the autobahn, this would have gone unnoticed and I might have ruined my N20.
