How can I fill this in?

👋🏼 so I made this bag for my friend and tried embroidering her initial onto it. Unfortunately you can't really see it from afar. Another friend thinks I should fill it in but I don't really know how. I've tried satin stitch but I wasn't happy with the look. And I also tried French knots but those take a really long time. So I would really appreciate some recommendations for beginner friendly ways on how to fill in the letter.
