Buying coins over fc points

For the first time ever I bought coins yestrday(2.2 million) it was roughly 100 pounds and it got me thinking why would anyone want to buy fifa points considering you can still buy store packs when buying coins and also have the option to upgrade your team, also to make 2 million coins off fifa points would cost alot more then 100 pounds, just want to get people opinions on buying coins
