Oga’s Bar forced socialization

I’m not sure if this is a new thing Oga’s is doing because I can’t find anyone else talking about it and this is my partner and I’s first time going. But, We got a slot the day before for 10pm. We checked in just fine and only had to wait about 10 minutes for our table “to be ready”. I put it in quotes because I’m not actually sure that applied to this situation seeing as when they pulled us into the cantina, they lead us to a very packed booth and gestures to the table, saying “hello friends, we have some lost travelers who are going to join you tonight so if you could scoot over” and the whole table just turned and stared at us with looks of either uncomfortability or annoyance and the cast members had to keep prompting them to scoot over until there was barely enough room for my partner and I to sit on the edges on the bench. When I asked her why she said “that’s just how we do it here.” It was literally like something out of my nightmares and after 12 hours in the park it made me so unbelievably uncomfortable I could have cried. We got up and left immediately and I’m just sharing so if anyone is looking for an enjoyable end of the day drink at the park, unless you have a party of 10+, DONT go to Oga’s Cantina! And even if you have a large party, be aware they may shove some strangers in with you during your time!

Edit: I want to thank everyone for letting me know this is just how Oga’s is, I had no idea and my only issue with that is that we weren’t warned we would be sitting with other people. As for the other party, I personally didn’t take offense to them not wanting to share their table or being surprised we were there. I think they were just as shocked and confused as my boyfriend and I were haha. We aren’t the most socially ept people and both of our social batteries were completely depleted by that point which was why we chose to leave. If it had been the beginning of the day it would have been awkward but we would have laughed it off and socialized with the other group. Anyways, it’s good to hear, also that DW isn’t the same experience so we will probably just wait to go again until we do a DW trip!
