Admiration?

I recently started playing a new campaign of DIE. I've played before and was really excited when I was given the Emotion Knight as my class. Because my persona was an Archeology Lecturer at a University I decided that maybe Admiration was the most fitting emotion, thinking of a teacher proud of their student. It wasn't until we started playing however that I realised how difficult it was to manifest Admiration. Even the lower tiers of trust and acceptance seem more passive then active feelings. The GM tried to push me to trying harder and performing better through my weapon but I feel that is more akin to ambition then Admiration.

Does anyone have suggestions as to how I can make Admiration a more active thing? I've tried be appreciative of others for aid and expressed pride towards people when they have done well, however my GM says it's not really enough. I would be open to changing emotions if one fits better

Thank you in advance
