Calus mini tool

During season of the haunted I gathered 4 deep sight weapons and was almost done with resonance but I had to stop playing. This current season I picked up destiny again and have been searching for a way to get the calus mini tool so I can craft one but I can’t find any anywhere. No one is selling them and I’ve heard that they are only in the world loot pool. Is there anyway to grind world loot pool engrams or am I just fucked until bunjee decides to release one from a vendor.
