Is this auto diagnostic fee normal? ($175)

I know things are more expensive in Colorado than say Florida (where I moved from last year), but I’m a little blown away by this diagnostic fee and wondering if this is just the standard

I took my car to Holman Honda and their diagnostic fee is $175, and they don’t credit any of it to your bill if you get work done. For background, my Honda dealership in Orlando charged $90 for diagnostic and credited it to the bill if you got work done.

Is this normal and I’m just spoiled? A bunch of lights came on so I felt like I had to get it looked at, but now I’m terrified of the result because I can barely afford the diagnostic fee.. (lights are likely related to sensors as all the alerts are tied into sensors)

Thanks in advance for any insight

ETA: thank you everyone for your feedback! It def seems I was spoiled at the dealer back in Orlando, but that there are many great options for local mechanics that I can check out

Dealer came back that the camera system has failed and the battery and that I should replace all of that for a cool $3k. So obviously I won’t be doing that lol but a lesson learned and an opportunity to support a local business next time!

Another update: I just picked up my car from the dealer and I pulled into my house to realize they cracked my windshield. I’m heading back now, but I am 100% sure that wasn’t there prior, it’s in a really weird place and not something I could’ve done myself. what a bundle of lessons for today.

(Hopefully last) Update: I went back to the dealership with the cracked windshield and was having a hell of a time arguing with the service advisor about how my car didn’t have a crack in it before. The manager overheard us and said he’d just take care of it. I was pretty upset so he came over to chat with me and after asking some questions, discovered my car was actually still under warranty. The service advisor def wasn’t very helpful here, but the manager is course correcting a lot. Though the diagnostic fee was still hefty, it’s kind of worth it if Honda foots the whole bill (which is part of the reason I went before). Alas though, once it’s out of warranty it’s probably better to go to a local mechanic
