Is the student leadership academy??

I was recently accepted into the student leadership academy but the website is pretty vague about what it actually entails. I know there are workshops but if anyone is in it what are the benefits? Have you noticed any pros to joining other than the workshops themselves? Also is the housing guaranteed with it just the regular housing or is it special? Is it worth going to Dalhousie just to be apart of it?
