Starting injections in an hour, age 41!
TW: living child
Hello I am doing a mid-luteal start for my first round of IVF, 300 gonal-F, 150 menopur. I have had 6 miscarriages back to back after having a LC before opting for IVF with pgta testing. Really wish I started this earlier but doctors kept telling me to “keep trying naturally”. I don’t have it in me anymore to just keep having miscarriages. AMH between .3 and .6. AFC 4-6. Going to try 3 rounds before going to donor eggs (insurance covers 2). My doctor is not the most pollyanna-ish. She’s always like, “I want to manage expectations.” I’m like, I have low expectations being 41 and fully knowing most of my eggs are trash as I’ve had 8 miscarriages in total. Anyway, any words of advice or encouragement greatly appreciated as I attempt to stick myself with needles :/
