what are the best parts about owning a crestie?

hello everyone!!

im new here and dont actually have any geckos or reptiles in general myself (i do have axolotls tho), but i joined because ive always wanted a gecko and i love seeing them be silly. I only learned about crested geckos specifically recently and id love to get one a few months from now when ive done proper research and saved up enough to get a suitable enclosure and everything else i need.

I feel like everyone always asks abt the basics in terms of care for animals they want to get, but since i can do that research myself id love to ask what everyone’s favorite part is about owning a crested gecko specifically and why all the work u put into it is worth it 🫶🏻
