AMEX BCE Or BCP For Walmart

We’re looking at upgrading our AMEX EveryDay card to either the BCE or BCP. We have the Hulu Live TV bundle, so we’d get back $84 either way, though the BCP would provide an extra 5% -> ~$50 cashback on Hulu alone, making the AF less of an issue. We don’t have many other subscriptions.

The big question is which ones work at Walmart and Sam’s? I don’t see a consensus on this. The BCE works at Sam’s with Scan & Go, does the BCP not work for this? Also, if we usually do a self-checkout at the Walmart Supercenter, does the BCP work? Or is the only one that works the BCE through Walmart Pay? Do either work with pickup?

We’re also considering getting the BCE first then upgrading to the BCP later to get both SUBs.

P.S. C1 has a +3% cashback offer at Walmart right now, but it has a lot of exclusions.
