Extreme sudden stuttering in pirated version of Final Fantasy XV

Hey everyone,

Regardless of my settings, I'm getting terrible stuttering on the game. The version I downloaded was listed as" FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION (Build 1261414 & ALL DLC)"

What's frustrating is when the settings are all turned up to highest the game still runs fine until it gets these random stutters. I've tried special k, I've tried a number of settings too.

Even setting the game to Average on everything hasn't fixed it.

Specs:

Ryzen 9 3900X

RTX 2080

16GB RAM

EDIT:

Noticed my controller was disconnecting a lot randomly and connecting again right away.

Plugged it in wired and the major lag spikes are gone. There's still a few frame drops here and there but I think I'm just going to put it down as maybe being a bad port.
