When does the initial insertion pain end?

Got the copper iud placed on Wednesday under general anesthesia. They also did a hysteroscopy. (Not to be mistaken with hysterectomy!). I’ve been in so much pain with the cramping. The only thing that’s been helping is a heating pad and I take Naproxen but who knows what that’s doing. I was not expecting to still be this uncomfy on the weekend. I decided to drink wine on Thursday night to help with the pain and LOL NEVER AGAIN. I got too drunk and was incredibly mean to my boyfriend who has been nothing but sweet and supportive. Any way, is there anything else I can do for the discomfort? Help 😭 Advice? Thanks.
