Was Mary Magdalene delirious after the resurrection of Jesus?

She goes to the sepulchre a second time and returns to Peter without remembering that she saw Jesus on the way there the first time. I've pieced together John 20 and Matthew 28 (KJV) and this is how I make sense of it.
