Unable to scan after installing PG 0.175.0 and changing language in app only

Hello,

I installed the latest PokemonGo version (0.175.0) on my OnePlus 6T (Android 9) thru APKMirror yesterday.
The new install scheme use bundles, and the actual version on APKMirror does not have my language package, so PokemonGo is now in English, while my phone is still in French.

Whenever i try to scan a Pokemon, i get the "Autoconfig failed : Could not find PC" error message.
Since Calcy states it needs "PC and PV", which are the French terms, but the English PG has CP and HP, i'm pretty sure the problem is there.

For obvious reasons, i don't want to change my phone language.
I don't care if PokemonGo is in English, and Calcy IV has always been in English.
So, is there a way to manually configure Calcy IV to read in English even though my phone OS stays in French ?
