Maternity leave/baby bonding/FMLA

I plan on going on maternity leave here in a couple of months just wondering what the max leave I could take is? I want to spend as much time with my baby as possible before going back to work. I am full-time so I should get full benefits. Also, doesn’t matter if it’s paid or unpaid just wondering how much I can take before going back.
